Tina Weymouth, bass player for Talking Heads has a birthday today and alive and well

I’ve always said Talking Heads were one of the strangest bands to ever achieve mainstream success. They wrote great songs, had interesting videos but still were an unusual band to sell millions of records. Their influence is enormous and while no longer together, all the members are alive and making significant contributions to music. Tina Weymouth, bass player of the band celebrates a birthday today and it’s nice to celebrate someone who’s still alive for a change, given the musical climate these past few weeks and all year, really. Happy Birthday Tina!
