For this week's premiere, we've got a quirky tune from the Milwaukee duo Dudes and Their Guys that's likely to appeal to fans of Ben Folds' more whimsical output. You can stream and read about their new track "Have a Seat" below.
Dudes and Their Guys formed in 2018 and recorded their first album using an iPhone, and a purely improvisational writing technique. During the summer of 2019 they released two full length LP's, "Headlights" and "Meet the World." After a short hiatus they returned and put out "Keep Walking"; the lead single to their upcoming concept album titled "Valentine's Day" which is scheduled for release in summer of 2021.
Their most recent song, "Have a Seat" is a break from their serious writing style and is a humorous commentary on the lack of kindness in the world. Drew Running and Kaden Rhodes are both college students and can't wait to keep writing, recording and producing music together.
