Every week, 88Nine brings you a fresh track from a Milwaukee artist. They send it to us. We post it here. You hear it before everyone else.

This week we’re premiering an uplifting love song from the Milwaukee group Fressure Point, a group that began with Aftin Warren (vocals) and Jack Beyler (guitar) but has since expanded to include Jon Blohm (bass) and Bob Schaab (drums). Ahead of their Thursday, March 26 show at Company Brewing, stream “Kissed Me” below.

Artist’s statement

“Kissed Me” was recorded in two different locations — our bassist Jon’s house, and the apartment of our producer Brian Adam. It is the only Fressure Point song in which vocals was written before any music. The lyrics express the power of a kiss and the emotions that can blossom out of even just one.
