Here are more songs that inspire Milwaukee nurses and healthcare workers

Thank you healthcare professionals

Last week, I shared music that inspired Milwaukee nurses. I decided I wanted to continue building this list. I created a form where healthcare workers on the frontline can submit one song that inspires and motivates them and why. Below are the latest submissions from some of Milwaukee's finest. If you know a healthcare worker, please send them the form.

You can also check out the updated Spotify playlist.

Dawn Nimtz, Select Specialty Hospital

Song: Sly and The Family Stone - "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)"

"Great beat, gets me happy and is so motivating. I get my coworkers to dance out on the hospital units!!"

Kristin Pederson Carver, St. John's On The Lake

Song: TV On The Radio - "Could You"

"As a nurse, I love the people I take care of and know that I’m at my best when I put their care above my own needs. This song reminds me to open my heart and put others first."

Elise Statza, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's

Song: Samm Henshaw - "Church"

"It’s very upbeat and forces you to dance, even when you don’t have the energy to after a 12-hour shift."

Clarissa Wright, Aya Healthcare Travel Nurse Agency

Song: Lizzo - "Good As Hell"

"This song makes me want to dance every time I hear it! Lizzo reminds us how important it is for us to take care of ourselves especially during tough times. "

Katie Wilson, Aurora St. Luke's

Song: Van Halen - "Jump"

"This is my pump up jam and has been forever. The synthesizer, the guitar, the sentiment - might as well jump!"
