Starting this week, 88Nine has started a new playlist on Spotify called 88Nine's Discover Music Weekly. Every Monday morning, all of the DJs and some of the staff come together for a music meeting. During the music meeting, everyone submits music for airplay. Not everything that is brought is added to the rotation.
So, we decided to put together a weekly Spotify playlist that features the music that was featured at the meeting. The playlist will be updated no later than Tuesday afternoon. Make sure you follow 88Nine on Spotify to get updates to the playlist. We also host the playlist on Youtube for those who don't use Spotify.
On this week's Discover Music Weekly, we feature new music from Andrew WK, Lissie, Hot Snakes, Clayjay, Chrome Sparks, Lucius, S. Carey, and more.
