Electronic music promotions company Stellar Spark will bring the 20th edition of its New Year’s Eve celebration to the Rave, and there are two rather large developments to go with it.
- It’s a two-day “mega-party”
- Shaq is the headliner on day one
For the non-basketball, non- Kazaam fans in the audience, Shaq is the sobriquet ( one anyway) of NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. When he was done bulldozing the league, he did the same to the general media world and joined TNT’s Inside the NBA, forming somewhat of a Statler-and-Waldorf dynamic with fellow league legend Charles Barkley.
He made his DJ debut in 2015, building a following that eventually brought him to the Miller Lite Oasis for a not-too-shabby set at Summerfest 2021. A little more than 15 months later, he’ll find himself at the Rave along with a slew of other electronic artists.
DJ Diesel takes the stage Dec. 30, and the party keeps right on going the following night. You can get tickets for either or both when they go on sale at 11 a.m. this Monday, Oct. 24. More information is available on the Rave’s website.
