Grace Weber will have plenty to celebrate at Pabst Theater show

Just a few weeks ago, Grace Weber brought her latest single, “Intimate,” to the COLORS music series and let her vocals shine in the stripped-down setting. Her surroundings will be decidedly more elaborate later this year, when she plays the Pabst Theater for a Nov. 9 show celebrating her sophomore album.

Weber’s Milwaukee appearance is one of several on a coast-to-coast fall tour that starts in Charlotte and wraps up in Los Angeles. Fueling the run is the impending release of her second studio LP, details of which are tantalizingly scarce beyond the tour release calling it “an intimate collection of songs that delve into the depths of Weber’s emotions and experiences.”

What we do know is that Visit Milwaukee has thrown its support behind the hometown artist, making her a brand ambassador and the Pabst Theater performance part of the inaugural Milwaukee Theater Week. Like Weber’s album, we don’t know much about this brand-new concert series but will keep you updated as soon as we have more details on additional shows.

“I’m so incredibly excited to hit the road this fall and share this music with fans across the nation," Weber said in the release. "Having the support of [Visit Milwaukee] makes this tour even more special as we get to celebrate the beauty of Milwaukee together. Additionally, being a headliner for Milwaukee Theater Week is an honor, and I can't wait to create magical memories with the hometown crowd."

If you want to be part of that crowd, you can pick up tickets to see the Grammy-winner and namesake of Grace Weber’s Music Lab when they go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, Aug. 11, online and at the Pabst/Riverside box offices.
