Many may consider classic folk music to be a mostly-lost art form in the music world today. However, there are some talented singers and musicians that continue to carry this torch and tradition today; one of these torch bearers is Willie Watson.
Formerly of the popular string band Old Crow Medicine Show, Willie Watson has since emerged as a solo performer, with nothing but his voice and a guitar or banjo to fill the stage. We got a chance to talk to Watson ahead of his performance at the Cedarburg Cultural Center on Saturday, March 4.
Listen to the player below for the full interview.
As previously mentioned, you can see Willie Watson perform at the Cedarburg Cultural Center on this Saturday, March 4. For tickets and more information, follow this link.
