Duo reimagined songs from recent album "What Now" with a full band of friends

This morning, NPR’s Bob Boilen posted about an exciting new Sylvan Esso project that will be released… THIS FRIDAY!

Scroll down for all the details and the first video from the project.

In April, the adorable duo of Nick Sanborn and Amelia Meath wrangled up a bunch music friends, holed up in a studio in Asheville, North Carolina and reimagined tracks off their new albumĀ What Now with a *full band*.

The result of a day’s work (yes, they did it all in a day. Bob asked them about that.) is a visual EP they’ve dubbed theĀ Echo Mountain Sessions.

Watch the videos of the reimagined “Rewind” and “Die Young” below and stay tuned as NPR releases three more videos each day this week leading up to the EP’s Friday release.
