Sound Travels traveled this weekend to Brazil -- in a time capsule.
Not only was it a replay of a mix I did waaaayyyyy back in 2011, but it also captures samba, samba funk, samba rock and bossa nova vibes from the 60's, 70's and a hint of the 80's.
Interesting trip into my own headspace. And you know, it's still funky and fresh. How can something so old be fresh? By being unheralded, hidden and nevertheless happenin.'
