Making up for lost time this year with TWO mixes of hot, new Middle Eastern music after seven solid years of none.
I blame this glaring hole in the general diversity of sounds on the very real difficulty in simply finding these sounds. The fact I speak no Arabic, and the lack of English-language sites presenting or covering this music, are other elements of trickiness.
But this year, I made headway and found a ton of good music (sometimes without a title). But I got it and this mix is a doorway into a whole other world...
