Cinco de Mayo Mixtape

A Cinco De Mayo mixtape was needed.

So Sound Travels traveled on Sunday with one. A party mix of Mexican and Mexican American influences. From Latin alternative to cumbia, to hip-hop and dubbed-out salsa -- this mix has as much as I could put in, in it.

I even threw in some interesting twists on songs that may be more familiar. From the start with The Coasters' "Down in Mexico" to A Tribe Called Red's moombahton smashout of The Champs' classic drinking anthem "Tequila," to Cypress Hill doing a classic "Insane in The Brain" in Spanish(!) as "Loco en el Coco."

Whether you're partying on the day, or putting a Mexican vibe along the way, this mix is pretty fun in a modern to old-school way. Bump.
