So it's been a hot couple of weeks of reruns on the Sound Travels mixtape. I stepped over the international border and was straight chillin in Canada for ten days and am purposefully refreshed from the time away.
I was in Montreal trying to not sound stupid (in case you you were wondering). But now that I'm back, I felt it was time to go through the releases I missed and find the significant songs that happened to happen while I was away. And thus, the July mixtape!
New new new new new! Long listens into new albums like dub poet Roger Robinson. DJ Vadim finally cut that album with singer Sena that was supposed to happen a long time ago but just did. And it's hella good.
Remixes from Afrilectro funk outfit Ibibio Sound Machine and cinematic fun from Italians Sacri Cuori are just the start.
This mix is only slightly stirred but judge the niceness for your own self. Lots of new goodies on the world music scene for early July...
