You know you've got it bad for a band when you'll make them BOTD and play a couple of their songs. Especially when said band only has two songs to their credit. The thing about L.A.'s Jungle Fire, is that they make music that dope on the first drop. It's Afro-Latin Afrobeat (because two afros are better than one) and really, this should have been done before (it's really that obvious) but I'm glad it's Jungle Fire, because I have no doubt they'll continue to get it right.
I have no doubts because Jungle Fire members have performed/recorded with luminaries and legends like Stevie Wonder, Joe Bataan, Breakestra, Ozomatli, Quantic, Alice Russell, La Santa Cecilia, Simple Citizens, Celia Cruz, Orgone, The Greyboy Allstars and the list goes on. Not only that, but they've got to get props for the choices they've made, namely the excellent remixes they've also made available from The Whiskey Barons, Grant Phabao and Renegades of Jazz.
All tracks available on the band's Bandcamp page.
