This post-holiday time is usually a "dead zone" for shows. But not this year.
The ambitious punk band Tenement (on Piet Levy's top 10 list of 2015) is playing Lucky Cat in Riverwest.
Also performing this weekend is Wisconsin native Tyler McDiarmid, with his band San Fermin.
Saturday at Cactus Club you can catch a "secret" show by Hello Death. I refer to this as "folk-mageddon" -- since this will be their last show for awhile.
And...GGOOLLDD will play a headlining show at Turner Hall which should be a really packed dance party.
