Donny McCaslin will be at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center tonight! (Thursday, October 13 at 7:30pm) He is best known for being on David Bowie’s “Blackstar” in a time when Bowie was inspired by McCaslin -- there are jazz influences. McClasin's new album will be released Friday. It includes Bowie covers and sound that was inspired by his time working with Bowie.
We've got a post-summer outdoor festival. Goodkind, Palomino, and Cactus Club are teaming up for the Beet Street Harvest Festival that will feature some Fall fun in the form of food, drinks and local music (Space Raft, Lex Allen, Maritime, Negative/Positive). Saturday, October 15, 11am to 6pm.
M83 making his Milwaukee debut on Wednesday, October 19th, 7pm. Leadman, Anthony Gonzalez, says this album has tones of "80s after-school television specials inspiration." This is expected to be a great show.
