Saturday was super inspiring, musically and spiritually! I became a God daddy to my best friend's son, went hiking with my very fun but loud Puerto Rican family, had one of my favorite local Milwaukee DJs play the show for the first time and got a chance to play some inspiring new house music. We kicked the evening off with a Dom Dolla bass twist of Australia's very own Hayden James and Naations' - "No Where To Go," then jumped right in to an acid underground house vibe from the talented Arun Verone of Birmingham. The rest of the mix just ramps up and gets you ready for the amazing DJ Phox!
Nona AKA Phox is a newcomer to the club scene in this city. She works daily on her craft and has now set her sights on creating her own music in the near future. Currently Phox is working some of the hottest venues in the Midwest. In such a young career, Phox has opened up for acts like Chris Lorenzo, J. Phlip and GTA just to name a few. I first met Phox at a Rave hosted by Milwaukee legend and Apart music's own Fortune. Like Fortune, Koshka, Blu 9, DJ Loop, T Dizzle and many other DJ's who are women in this business, Phox continues to open up minds and inspire a new wave of talented DJs.
