With a series of truly iconic singles throughout their 3-decade career including, “American Music,” “Gone Daddy Gone,” “Nightmares,” “Add It Up,” and, of course, “Blister In The Sun,” The Violent Femmes are undeniably one of the most inventive bands of this or any era and remain as wise and weird as ever, constantly pushing forward with their singular blend of folk, punk, sarcasm and spirituality.
Joining them for this highly anticipated evening is X, one of the most influential bands to emerge out of the first wave of LA’s flourishing punk scene in the late 70’s. Celebrating the 40th anniversary this year of their iconic debut album Los Angeles, X lives up to the reputation of legendary leaders of a punk generation.
