About the films
INVISIBLE LINES (83 min.) is “a film about Milwaukee, through the eyes of 10 residents of color. With intimate interviews and art, they share their personal stories of segregation, racism and prejudice. No narrator. No script. Just conversations between people.” See a preview at invisiblelinesmke.com.
THREE NEIGHBORHOODS (12 min.) explores life in Clarke Square, Lindsay Heights, and Layton Boulevard West through the eyes and stories of its residents and leaders, 10 years after Joseph Zilber committed $50 million to sustain and grow these communities.
A portable bathroom will be on site, and there will be coffee, tea and other beverages available. After the screenings, guests are free to hang out for discussion.
