Basic Culinary Knife Skills

If the thought of slicing and dicing all those raw ingredients prevents you from cooking from scratch, learn how to “sharpen” your basic knife skills. You’ll learn how to perform several basic cutting techniques, sharpen a knife, and discuss the selection and care of knives for food preparation. Just in time for a Thanksgiving Feast! Join us at Riverside Park along with long time member Annie, as she shares her culinary talents with the community during this basic knife skills workshop. Feel free to bring your favorite kitchen knife with you! Cutting boards, extra knives and a support community of curious culinary learners are included!
