Children’s Author Bev Davis to Visit Oak Creek Public Library

March 10, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

The Oak Creek Public Library is pleased to welcome local author, Bev Davis, for two presentations on Saturday March 10, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Davis will give a reading from her Great Gray children’s book series, which focuses on building self-esteem, overcoming obstacles, and finding the joy in who you are, exactly as you are.
Davis says that, “while living in small town Wisconsin, I had a dream. This complete dream became Great Gray: A Book about Exceeding “No Expectations.” Davis has also written Great Gray Meets New Friends and Namaste, Great Gray which are the follow-up books about the life of Great Gray, an elephant who excels in dealing with life’s obstacles.
Bev Davis will have fun interactive activities for children, and will also offer book sales following a reading from Great Gray. These events are scheduled for Saturday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m., at the Oak Creek Public Library, 8040 S. 6th Street. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome and registration is not required. For more information, visit or call (414) 766-7940 and ask to speak with a librarian in the children’s department.
