The Rogues Premiere New Popup Gallery in David’s Attic
MILWAUKEE…The Rogues Artists Group is premiering a popup exhibit in the attic space of the David Barnett Gallery. This is the first time an art group will be exhibiting in the gallery and the first time the attic space has been open for showing art. The Rogues Artists Group popup reception will held be during The Third Ward Gallery Night, Friday, October 19th from 5:00 to 9:00pm and Gallery Day, Saturday, 11:00am to 5:00pm. The show runs through November 2nd. After Gallery Night and Day, viewing is by appointment only, call 414-271-5058. The David Barnett Gallery is located at 1024 East State Street in Milwaukee.
The show entitled David’s Attic, showcases the work of 22 of The Rogues artists. Media includes sculpture, metalwork, jewelry, plein air, watercolor, oil, cut paper, assemblage, encaustic and mixed media. Some of the most notable artists in the state are members of The Rogues Artists Group. Exhibiting are Jon Wos, William Lemke, Tom Smith, Laura EaseyJones, Annan Affotey, Thomas Buchs, Gwen Granzow, Beth Stoddard, Carol Christ, JJ Joyce, Sherri Thomas, Dennis Robert, Dan Pierce, Julie San Felipe, Lynda Brothen, Barbara Friedman, Cherie Raffel, Suzanne Eli-Germaine, Cyndy Baran, Catheryn Ruvalcaba,and Sophia Zobacheva.
Live music will accompany the opening reception. Refreshments will be served.
The Rogues Artists Group is a group of 35 artists producing investment-quality art. The Rogues Artists Group was established in 2017 and shows at major venues around the state.
