The Holocaust and Primary Sources: Using Rywka’s Diary

May 15 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Nathan & Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center (HERC) and Jewish Museum Milwaukee (JMM) are partnering for a professional development opportunity geared towards educators but open to all.

Join Education Directors, Dr. Dan Haumschild and Ellie Gettinger for an exploration of the Holocaust through primary sources from the era, including the diary of Rywka Lipszyc found at Auschwitz during liberation in 1945. The diary inspired “The Girl in the Diary: Searching for Rywka from the Lodz Ghetto,” Jewish Museum Milwaukee’s current special exhibit.

Please join us on HERC’s Facebook page for this LIVE discussion.
