Friends of the Domes “Fall Fermentation Series – Sauerkraut Stomp”

Learn the scientific concepts and skills to begin a basic fermentation project, sauerkraut. This is a hands-on workshop where participants will cut and pound their way through many heads of cabbage on the path to sauerkraut. You’ll enjoy a rollicking, beer-inspired kraut making session and take home a passel of recipes and your own ‘crock’ of baby-kraut to watch through the fermentation process. Get your Oktoberfest started with homemade kraut!
We will also have an additional guest speaker at each session to discuss the beer we will be sipping, as well. The September session will feature a discussion with the Brewmaster from City Lights Brewing! This certainly is a fun and fizzy fermentation event!
