We are firmly in holiday market season. SAUCED jumped in early with a pre-Thanksgiving edition, HYFIN once again owned Small Business Saturday with its Blackity Black Market at Turner Hall, and the Wauwatosa Holiday Market kicked off its 12-day Alpine experience just this past Wednesday.
The Tosa shopping event’s approach is a rarity in a sea of one-day options like the market coming up this Sunday from the folks at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. The java-slingers have done this for the past couple years and will hold their third annual Merry & Bright Market at the Bruce Street location not too far from our studios here in Walker’s Point, with things getting underway at 10 a.m. and wrapping up at 2 p.m.
This free event has the key accessories to help you stay energized as you’re walkin’ through the consumer wonderland: food in the form of Hot Box Pizza, beer from Indeed Brewing Company (and of course Anodyne’s usual lineup of offerings), and music from our fellow airwave-riders over at WMSE.
The stars of the market, however, are the local vendors. Anodyne has lined up 20 that will fill the floor with candles of every olfactory variety, ceramics, digital art pieces, cookies, treats and oh-so-many other handcrafted items to get your gift-giving out of that Amazon rut. You can check out the full list below and follow the links to get a taste of what they offer, then bounce over to the event page to reserve your spot at the free-to-attend market.
