Holiday Lites will brighten Miller Valley starting this weekend

Molson Coors

The Holiday Lites display in front of the Plank-Road House at 3897 W. State St. has taken on nearly as many forms as the company that presents them every year. The current iteration is a drive-thru experience that runs from Dec. 6-26, with a show every 10 minutes between 5 and 9 p.m.

The vehicular approach is different from what visitors might remember from past years, many of which invited guests on a walking tour that included a sidewalk view. For 2024, Molson Coors invites people to park across from the Plank-Road House, dial their radio to 91.1 for the accompanying soundtrack and remain in their vehicle throughout the show.

In a release, Molson Coors guest relations manager Meghann Barilla said, “Our Holiday Lites show has grown into a true holiday staple, captivating generations of families and becoming a highly anticipated celebration of the season.” The release also noted that this year’s display includes more than a million energy-efficient LED lights.

While the display is for all ages, the other facet of Molson Coors’ holiday cheer is reserved for those aged 21 and over. Starting Dec. 10 in the Miller Visitor’s Center (4251 W. State St.), Frederick Miller’s Chocolate Lager will be available to purchase in 32-ounce cans for $15 each. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
