First concert? (band, how old were you, where)

I saw Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band at Eagles Ballroom when I was in sixth grade. It was a bunch of old rock stars (Peter Frampton, someone from Cream and Procol Harum) and it was my birthday present. From 4 ^th to 8 ^th grade I was ridiculously obsessed with The Beatles so this was a dream come true for me. I got a really lame hat and wore it for a year straight.

Favorite band of all time?

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band. Just kidding – The Beatles.

Favorite place to take a visitor in Milwaukee?

The lakefront. My friends and family that live on either coast are always amazed that Lake Michigan looks like an ocean and that we have beaches.

What about you would surprise people?

I played tackle football in 8 ^th grade. I was the safety on the Shorewood Whippets (and actually got playing time!). We weren’t any good, but I had fun.
