Marketing Manager

Reports to: Executive director
Radio Milwaukee is looking for a talented marketing manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth. This position will oversee and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences and drive business growth. In this role, you’ll manage marketing campaigns, analyze performance metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to achieve company goals. Identify target audiences and determine the best channels and tactics to reach them.
- Campaign management: Plan, execute and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email and traditional media. Ensure campaigns are on-brand and align with business objectives.
- Content creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for marketing materials, including our website, blog posts, social media, email newsletters and promotional materials.
- Market research: Conduct market research to identify trends, the competitive landscape and customer needs. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Budget management: Develop and manage the marketing budget. Allocate resources effectively and track expenses to ensure cost-efficient execution of marketing activities.
- Performance analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators. Prepare reports and presentations on campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Brand management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels. Maintain and enhance brand reputation through strategic communication and engagement efforts.
- Team leadership: Manage and mentor the marketing team. Delegate tasks, provide guidance and support professional development to enhance team performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business strategy and objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIM, PMP) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, with at least one year in a managerial role. Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership.
Skills
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing and analytics.
- Excellent organization and project management.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media management tools).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative, strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Work environment
Radio Milwaukee staff are required to work in-office at 220 E. Pittsburgh Ave. in Milwaukee four (4) days per week and may work one (1) day remotely.
