Every week, Kristopher Pollard from Milwaukee Film and Radio Milwaukee’s Dori Zori talk about movies — because that’s what you do when you’re Cinebuds .
This week, we talk about the newest from the Mayor of Pugh-ville, Florence Pugh: The Wonder. Based on the book by Emma Donoghue, the film takes place in 19th century Ireland. Mayor Pugh plays a nurse who travels to a small village to observe a young girl who reportedly hasn't eaten any food for months. She claims to be fed on manna from heaven.
We discuss our respective fan journeys toward Flo-Pugh and a controversial filmmaking device used by director Sebastián Lelio. We also talk about what else we've been watching and ... our favorite potatoes? How did we get to such a topic? Find out in the podcast!
