Every week, Kristopher Pollard from Milwaukee Film and Radio Milwaukee’s Dori Zori talk about movies — because that’s what you do when you’re Cinebuds.

We don’t typically drop two episodes of Cinebuds in the same week. But there’s nothing typical about the subject of this very special installment of the podcast: Cocaine Bear.

If you’re a fan of movies or have been on social media at any point in the last, say, five months, there’s no way you haven’t heard of this film. But, just in case, here’s the quick download: It’s the heartwarming tale of a bear who finds some cocaine and the people who don’t want to get killed by said bear.

You can probably guess from the headline how Kpolly and DZ felt about this particular piece of American cinema (currently available to stream on Peacock). But even that doesn’t really cover the level of vitriol present in this bonus episode. Considering how generally positive and level-headed our co-hosts are, that alone makes it worth a listen.

When you’re all done — or while you’re listening if you’re a multitasker — please like, share and subscribe to Cinebuds wherever you get your podcasts, and follow on Instagram at @cinebudspodcast!
