Lawrence came out of a film hiatus to make this raunchy, coming-of-age romp, saying it's one of the funniest scripts she's ever read. She plays a woman down on her luck and needs money to save the old family house. Instead of a local skateboarding competition that has the exact corresponding amount of prize money or a dance competition that has the exact corresponding amount of prize money, she finds a Craigslist ad that will give her the exact thing she needs to save the house. Cue the hijinks!
