Janis Joplin. I listen to “Pearl” at least once a week. Her voice is so unique, so special. Listening to her live sessions is magical.

Favorite place to take a visitor in Milwaukee? 
Vanguard. It has everything stereotypical about Milwaukee (sausage, beer, cheese) in the most non-poser-ist of ways.

Anything with lots of hops.
