Voting is both a privilege and a civil duty. Today is National Voter Registration Day! Stop saying, "I'll do it later" and get registered now. We make it easy. It will ask for 5 things: your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and zip code.
That's it! Then, with that information the site can get you registered, update your registration or check if you're currently registered.
For example, I have changed addresses since the last major election so I needed to update my information. I was prompted to MyVote Wisconsin which gave me the proper forms to get the details squared away. We have a Registration Form for you below.
After you fill out this form and print it, you have 3 options:
1. Mail your form to your municipal clerk
(You must postmark your registration form by 10/18/2016)
2. Hand-deliver your form to your municipal clerk
(It must be received by 11/03/2016 05:00 pm)
3. Bring your form to the polling place on election day
(By 11/08/2016 08:00 pm)
Don't forget your proof of residence document -- it is a document that proves where you live. You need it to show that you live in Wisconsin. (This allows you to vote in Wisconsin.) Examples of a proof of residence document:
- Wisconsin Driver License or State ID
- Residential Lease (Cannot be used when registering by mail)
- Utility Bill
- Paycheck
- Conceal Carry License
- Affadavit from Homeless Shelter
- Hunting License
- IRS Check
- Student ID and Fee Receipt
- Bank Statement
