Inside the walls of Radio Milwaukee, we’ve always known Tarik Moody as a newsmaker. This week, that title will become official as the featured guest at a Newsmaker Luncheon hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club (MPC) and WisPolitics.com.
As program director for HYFIN, Moody was instrumental in launching our new urban alternative channel, as well as the accompanying website. He’ll share his experience at the luncheon scheduled for 11:45 a.m. this Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Newsroom Pub (137 E. Wells St.).
Milwaukee Press Club President and Journal Sentinel reporter Corrinne Hess will moderate the discussion, during which Moody will answer questions from journalists and the audience.
The event is $20 for MPC members, $25 for non-members and $15 for students. It includes lunch, seating is limited, and advance registration is required. You can get all the information and register on the event page at milwaukeepressclub.org.
