As the COVID-19 pandemic swiftly shut down much of the city back in March, Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works responded by suspending all timed, metered and night parking restrictions. The holiday on those parking restrictions comes to an end this weekend, however.
Starting Monday, Sept. 14, the city will begin enforcing all posted timed, alternate side and night parking regulations again. Anybody parking in the city must following follow alternate side overnight parking regulations, unless parked on an exception street. You can apply for a night parking permit here.
Enforcement of metered parking regulations already went back into effect on Monday, June 15.
