To say it has been a tough year for small businesses, would be a huge understatement. It has especially been harder for Black-owned businesses. According to Forbes, nearly half of all Black-owned businesses have closed due to the pandemic. That is why MKE Black created a gift box fundraiser.
The boxes contain products from over a dozen local Black businesses, including popcorn, snack mix, turtles, candles, soaps, coasters, sauces and more. A portion of each sale benefits MKE Black which will help further our mission of supporting Milwaukee area Black businesses. MKE Black offers a variety sizes for the gift boxes from small to ultimate.
The final deadline to order your gift boxes is Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. and you can pick them up Dec. 19 and 20, 1 - 4 p.m. at MobCraft Brewery.
