Fixing a foundation</br>built on a sinking city



Like many structures in Downtown Milwaukee, the building that houses the Milwaukee Repertory Theater was showing signs of sinking into the marshy earth along the Milwaukee River.

But after months of reconstruction, and nearly $2 million of repairs, the wooden pilings supporting the building have been reinforced
