This weekend is the first official weekend of fall. And what better way to enjoy the mild, early autumn weather than by exploring your city?
Doors Open Milwaukee, organized by Historic Milwaukee, will help you do just that Sept. 23 and 24.
About 100 historic buildings around Milwaukee will be open to the public -- including 88Nine -- for rare behind-the-scenes tours.
From churches to civic offices, you can visit every building for free. Doors Open also offers optional paid tours, focusing on unique neighborhoods, parks and city destinations.
OnMilwaukee's Bobby Tanzilo, as you'd expect, is quite excited for the annual event. He compiled a list of "10 Don't Miss Doors Open Locations" and shared them with me in studio.
