This spring, local historian and writer John Gurda is teaming up with 88Nine to share stories from Milwaukee’s neighborhoods in a new audio and video miniseries debuting March 16.
The idea for the series came after the release of Gurda’s 2015 book, "Milwaukee: City of Neighborhoods," which chronicles 37 contemporary portraits of Milwaukee’s neighborhoods.
Radio Milwaukee’s series covers these eight neighborhoods:

Harambee -- April 6
Bay View -- April 27
East Side -- May 4
Historic South Side -- May 11
North Milwaukee -- May 18
