Black Friday may be best known as the year's biggest shopping day, but in Milwaukee it's also become something of a beer drinker's holiday, with many of the city's top breweries releasing special brews. And this year it'll be easier than ever to sample them, thanks to three free beer shuttles from City Tours MKE running from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The shuttles will service Dead Bird Brewing, Hacienda Beer Co., Good City's Farwell Avenue and Downtown locations, Eagle Park Brewing Company, Water Street Brewery and Broken Bat. City Tours will be using eco-friendly electric cruisers to shuttle drinkers, according to its Facebook page.
The cruisers will leave from Good City's Farwell Avenue Location location, Water Street Brewery and Dead Bird. Parking will be available at Dead Bird and across the street from Good City's Farwell location.
Cole Vandermause at the Shepherd Express has a huge roundup of the day's special tappings. Highlights include Hacienda's Velvet Bulldozer imperial stout and L'Hiver winter saison, Good City's farmhouse-style saison Days of My Youth, and Dead Bird's Bean Water Imperial Oatmeal Stout, made with cold-brew coffee.
