Milwaukee Bucks arena district will accommodate an outdoor music venue

There is a lot of discussion about Milwaukee's lack of music venues compared to other similar sized cities. During a talk at the Rotary Club of Wisconsin, Bucks' managing director of real estate, Blair Williams announced that a new outdoor music venue would be part of the Bucks arena district.

Located in the Bucks plaza, the venue will accommodate up to 12,000 people and would not only host music events, but serve multiple purposes like a farmers market, ice skating rink, three-on-three basketball courts, and more.  According to a Milwaukee Business Journal article, the Bucks plan to host 80 to 100 events in the plaza.

In addition to the venue, the arena district will also house a microbrewery and a beer garden.
