You may not recognize his name, but you certainly know his lyrics. “Someday I’ll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me…”

I bet while you are reading this, you just sang the next line of that song in your head.  Me too!

Yip Harburg wrote songs for Hollywood and Broadway, winning an Oscar for “Over the Rainbow” with composer Harold Arlen.

Today, Yip’s great-grandson, Aaron Harburg, joined me in studio to talk about the United Performing Arts Fund’s 2016 campaign and his family’s connection to Wisconsin.
