Cosplay abounds at Anime Milwaukee 2017


Did you stumble across a few Pikachus or Zeldas this past weekend?
Don’t worry, you didn’t have a few too many cocktails, you’re eyes were correct: this weekend Downtown Milwaukee was taken over by all things Japanese for the 10th annual Anime Milwaukee.

Hundreds of table set up in the Wisconsin Center this past Saturday sold various outfits, toys and Japanese gifts.
The three-day convention brought in over 10,000 attendees to Wisconsin Center for a nonstop event featuring live speakers, gaming, meet-ups, competitions and, of course, plenty of cosplay.
As anime amateurs, we stopped by this Saturday and Sunday to see what all of the commotion was about and, turns out, had a surprisingly fantastic time.
