Every day between now and Halloween we’re sharing mystical, magical and maleficent stories from some of our favorite Milwaukee musicians — that’s right, we’re talking spooky stories.
For this episode of Milwaukee Encounters, we’re joined by Barry Paul Clark of adoptahighway, Field Report, Tontine Ensemble, Lady Cannon and more. He shares a seriously freaky experience at a Milwaukee music venue he worked for in the early 2010s (he doesn’t share its name, but you may be able to guess which one it is), where he received an apparent dispatch from the venue’s past.
We won’t spoil anything; you’ve got to hear this one for yourself. Stream the episode below.
You can stream Tontine Ensemble’s latest release, “Anamnesis,” below. And if you missed our first episode of Milwaukee Encounters, with Cat Ries recounting a sighting at Grant Park’s Seven Bridges Trail, you can stream it here.
