If you have passed underneath the National Ave. bridge, just east of Water St., you may not have even noticed the building embedded into the bridge’s concrete support structure.
But go back 1916, and it would have been bustling destination for commuters.
Inside, most of the original feature remain intact, serving as an appropriate backdrop for the model railroad club that has resided there for 82 years. Subway tile, the original ticket counter and baggage storage — it’s all still there.
