Is it worth spending your waking hours on ‘Moonage Daydream’?

Every week, Kristopher Pollard from Milwaukee Film and Radio Milwaukee’s Dori Zori talk about movies — because that’s what you do when you’re Cinebuds .

On this week’s episode, an all-star music team talks about the Starman himself: David Bowie. More precisely, they talk about the new documentary from director Brett Morgen, Moonage Daydream.

Joining Dori this week to make it THREE buddies talking about cinema are 88Nine Music Director Erin Wolf and Milwaukee artist Dwellephant. They have plenty of thoughts about Morgen’s creative choices for his latest music documentary (he also directed Cobain: Montage of Heck), which were — in Dwellephant’s words — Bowie-esque.

The words “druggy” and “hallucinatory” make an appearance as we deliver a verdict on whether you need to be a big Bowie fan to connect with this unique movie. As always, we also talk about what’s getting attention from our eyeballs this week.
