Milwaukee Film Membership Manager Kristopher Pollard and 88Nine Music Director Justin Barney sit down every day for the Milwaukee Film Festival and pick the movies you should see. Here is today's pick.
Listen below.
Justin Barney: Kpolly, what is your pick for today?
Kpolly: Today, it is "Scott Road." It's interesting because the producer Yo-Kai Yan, is a Milwaukee guy, but the film takes place in China. It's a sweet and sad coming of age story of young man falling in love with his teacher who used to be his brother's girlfriend. It's beautifully filmed, and acted. It's also nice to see Milwaukee, and the world all coming together in this film.
Justin Barney: Totally. When's it playing?
Kpolly: 6:30pm at the Times Cinema.
