Sip & Purr
After the closing of Wolf Peach, you may be missing their desserts. But you can still enjoy baked goods from the pastry chef of the now defunct spot, at the new Sip & Purr on the East Side. It’s a café serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and libations. The best part? You can book a reservation to cuddle adoptable cats! The café has found homes for over 100 felines in need.
The Walker’s Point restaurant Meraki has been around for a few years and has been reviewed, so we’re doing something a little different. Ann shares her reasons you should rediscover the 2nd St. spot and how to go on their culinary adventure.

Ann called up a number of her favorite Milwaukee chefs to find out what cookbooks have been inspiring them. Find out which cookbook your favorite chef chose and maybe you’ll be inspired, too. Check it out in the most recent issue of Milwaukee Magazine.
