Best Tacos in Milwaukee
In the latest issue of Milwaukee Magazine, Ann Christenson selected the 25 best tacos in Milwaukee. On 'This Bites,' we highlighted three of them.
One of the best places to get Carnitas tacos is from Carnitas Don Lucho located at 565 W. Lincoln Ave. They sell the tasty pork by the pound. They are open Friday-Sunday from 6 am on Friday and from 4 am on Saturday and Sunday. They stay open until they run out.
We also talked about one of my favorites taco spot, Chilango Express located at 6821 W. Lincoln Ave. (adjacent to a gas station). Besides their amazing tacos like their Saucy Pastor. On weekends, you can get a pound of roasted lamb with tortillas, onions, cilantro and lamb broth for $13! Finally, if you are looking for a good fish taco, check out El Tsunami Taqueria Y Mariscos located at 2001 W. Lincoln Ave.
German Fest
Milwaukee's German Fest is this weekend on the Summerfest grounds. You can check out the list of dishes you can try here like Goulasch, Bratherring (fried marinated herring), Spanferkel (roasted whole pig) and more.
Streets Eats Food Truck Festival
Street Eats Food Truck Festival takes place today at Catalano Square in the Historic Third Ward. Here are the trucks that will be there:

Hotel Madrid's Wine & Swine
Hotel Madrid's Executive Chef Hector Miranda will be slow roasting a "50 Lb" pig for your enjoyment. The pig will be paired with wine selected by their wine director, Aaron Gersonde.
