“Be Heard” is all about community voices throughout the city sharing what’s happening.
This Saturday, August 27 th, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Community Arts and Funk Festival will host its second annual event at the Marcus Center. It’s a showcase for both visual and performing artists from the area.
I sat down and spoke with Executive Director and Festival Promoter, Brad Anthony Bernard. Brad told me what residents can expect from the festival, why’s it’s important to have here in Milwaukee and the overall mission of the event.
